Building PR Momentum for Rokt Ahead of a Planned IPO

Challenge
Rokt, an AI e-commerce technology company, sought to elevate its U.S. profile and position its c-suite executives as industry thought leaders as it prepared for an IPO. The company needed to reinforce its reputation as a fast-growing leader in e-commerce advertising and an expert on the commerce media landscape.

Strategy
We developed a holistic communications program to amplify Rokt’s financial momentum and executive visibility, leveraging the company’s strategic partnerships, three acquisitions, Series D and E funding rounds and two secondary transactions to drive top-tier media interest around its growth trajectory. To further strengthen credibility and industry presence, we positioned Rokt’s leadership at high-impact moments, including ringing the Nasdaq opening bell with Formula 1 during Women’s History Month to spotlight shared support for women in motorsports and STEM. 

Results
The program delivered significant visibility for Rokt’s financial and strategic milestones, resulting in top-tier coverage in The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, The Information and other key outlets. We leveraged Rokt’s partnerships with Macy’s, Ulta, Albertsons, Uber and Lyft to secure additional stories in Adweek, Ad Age and The Wall Street Journal. Rokt’s consumer shopping research also drove a feature in Forbes, reinforcing the company’s authority in e-commerce and retail technology. Together, these efforts strengthened Rokt’s market profile and enhanced its positioning for future capital-markets opportunities.
